Kids off for Half term in February? Why not take a quick break in Scotland and enjoy a change of scene and a breath of fresh air in one of the great cities or country locations with your loved ones? We know how hard it is to constantly keep kids entertained, especially when they seem to get so many breaks from school these days. We’ve found some cracking stuff going on in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. This neck of the woods is so easy to get to as well, so even if you fancy ditching the car and taking the train, there’s a fabulous rail network from just about anywhere in the UK.
Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city and an abundance of pleasures await you. All year round, visitors can enjoy luxury shopping, a vibrant and eclectic nightlife and internationally acclaimed tourist attractions and galleries.

There’s always plenty going in Glasgow all year round and February is no exception. The city’s great venues have an amazing line up of entertainment so why not make a night of it by taking in a live show or concert?

The nationwide tour of ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’ will be gracing the stage of the Kings Theatre from 6-11 February and a week later you can take in ‘Ben & Hollie’s Little Kingdom on 17-18 February.
Family favourite Scooby Doo Live Musical Mysteries comes to town in February and you can catch it at the city’s famous clydeside arena, the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Glasgow and its surrounding area is packed with exciting landmarks and places of interest that you will simply love exploring. There are some great attractions, tours, day trips and walks of discovery that will help you make the most of your time in the city and tick off a few ‘must see’s’ along the way. If the weather isn’t up to much, you can always take in a movie. The LEGO Batman movie is out in UK cinemas on 10 February 2017. Sometimes a nice family movie, snuggled up together in the cinema is just the ticket.
